Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use this website and to shop with us in store. This site has been built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

Specific measures built into this website include:

Semantic HTML with a single main landmark, ordered headings and a skip-to-content link.
Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA for body text, headings and interactive elements.
Every interactive element reachable by keyboard, with a clearly visible gold focus outline.
Descriptive alternative text on images, and decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
Form labels tied to their inputs, with errors announced and linked to the field they describe.
Reduced-motion support: animations and smooth scrolling are switched off if your device requests it.
Text that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320px, and remains readable when zoomed to 200%.

In store

Our Basildon store has a step-free entrance, wide aisles and level access across the shop floor. If you need a hand while you shop, please ask any member of the team.
